The protection of your personal data is a priority for Olymps, a product of the startup-in-training DATKOM-INFORMATICS, represented by OCCANSEY Komlan Marcel Darius. We are committed to respecting your privacy and processing your personal data transparently, in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and current legislation.

- Facilitate connections between athletes via the app's social features;
- Provide geolocation services to display nearby activities and athletes;
- Improve our services (statistics, user feedback, experience optimization);
- Ensure security and prevent fraudulent use of the app;
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Categories of Data Collected
Depending on your use of Olymps, we may collect the following data:
- Identification data: first name, last name, email address, phone number (optional);
- Profile data: profile picture, sports practiced, level, preferences;
- Location data: real-time position (only if you activate geolocation), city of residence, activity zones;
- Activity data: events created, joined, personal statistics (e.g., number of sessions, sport type);
- Technical data: IP address, connection identifiers, logs, device type and operating system.
4. Data Recipients
Your data may be shared with:
- DATKOM-INFORMATICS' internal teams responsible for Olymps development and support;
- Our technical service providers (hosting, analytics, notification tools) strictly necessary for the app's operation;
- Competent authorities (if required by law or a judicial requisition).
We do not sell, exchange, or rent your personal data to third parties.
5. International Transfers
By default, your data is hosted within the European Union.
In case of a transfer outside the EU, we will implement appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, audits, etc.) to protect your data.
6. Retention Period
You can request the deletion of your account and data at any time (see section 8).
- Your account data: kept as long as your account is active.
- Your activity-related data: kept for a maximum of 3 years after your last use.
- Legal and billing data (if applicable): kept according to legal obligations.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures (secure authentication, encryption, backups, access control, monitoring) to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
8. Your Rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:

- Erasure: request the deletion of your data (right to be forgotten);
